Here is a fantastic presentation by Dr. Elijah Hixson of CSNTM arguing that Papyrus 50 is likely a forgery by Kirsopp Lake.

Timothy,Not sure that Hixson proved his point about P50 being a fake, awful lot of maybe’ and possibly!Fairly sure he has impugned the name of Lake with the barest shred of evidence.Tim
Timothy, as I understand it, Hixson is arguing that Lake did this as an inside joke, not as a way to con the masses.
Hixson also suggested that Kraeling and Rostoffsteff were also good candidates as the forgers and should be examined as well.
